The Dive School at Stoney Cove

Set in Leicester, United Kingdom, The Dive School at Stoney Cove sits at the UK's National Diving Centre. Diving first started here around 1960, and as the sport grew, Stoney Cove was developed into the underwater adventure park it is today — recognised as a benchmark that other centres follow.

Training and diving at Stoney Cove

As a PADI 5 Star IDC with 25 PADI instructors, the school is built for divers at every stage. Learning happens in a heated onsite training pool and classroom, with the flooded quarry of Stoney Cove itself as the main dive site. Beneath the surface you may encounter freshwater fish, molluscs, crustaceans and other features that make each dive a little different.

Facilities include a retail shop, parking, and food and drink on site, while services cover air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, servicing, repairs and scuba rental. Staff speak English and French, making Stoney Cove a welcoming base for both new and experienced divers.
