The Go Pro Family

Based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for 13 years, The Go Pro Family is a PADI 5 Star CDC built around professional-level training. Owners Angel & Jo bring a collective 30 years of running IDCs, and their multi-lingual team specialises in professional scuba training, technical diving, cave diving and freediving — the full range of PADI courses alongside guided dive trips.

Courses and diving

The line-up runs from a PADI Discover Scuba pool experience through to the Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses, plus a Dive Against Debris Specialty for conservation-minded divers. Freedivers are well served too, with Freediver, Advanced Freediver and even Freediver Instructor programs. Cenote dive trips open up the region's signature underwater terrain, and dive sites include Moc-Che, Barracuda, Mama Viña, Ojo de Agua and the Bullshark Site.

On site you'll find a training pool, classrooms, a retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, parking and private accommodation for diving guests. With English, Spanish and French spoken, it suits everyone from first-timers to aspiring professionals.
