Tropical Sons

Tropical Sons is a new dive operation in Cancún, Mexico, built by a group of friends and ocean lovers who put your experience first. This is a deliberately uncrowded, small-scale PADI Resort, where properly serviced equipment, well-maintained boats and current training tools all follow PADI and DAN safety standards. Every service includes snacks, full scuba gear and tax fees, so there are no hidden costs.

Courses, dive sites and who it suits

The team draws on a combined 10+ years of diving in Cancún and beyond, with five PADI Instructors and four languages spoken — English, Spanish, Portuguese and Swedish. The course range spans Discover Scuba Diving and ReActivate refreshers through to Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response, plus Cozumel and Cenote diving experiences and private charters. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available.

Cancún rewards divers with light-filled waters, calm conditions and great visibility most of the time, alongside drift, wreck and cave options. Explore MUSA, the Cancún underwater museum, Chitales Reef, Manchones National Park and the C58 — a varied playground suited to new and certified divers alike.
