UWBAHIA

UWBAHIA is a PADI Dive Center in Salvador, Brazil, where diving is treated as fun for the whole family. With 3 PADI Instructors on the team, it welcomes everyone from first-timers trying the water to those working toward professional ratings — and offers experiences for non-certified guests, including Discover Snorkeling and Discover Scuba Diving.

Courses and dive trips

The course menu runs from PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver through to the Open Water Referral, with PADI Discover Scuba Diving starting from USD 160 and a Half-Day Dive Trip I covering shallow dives. Beyond the classroom, expect shore dives, boat trips, snorkeling and seasonal Whale Watching.

Local sites include Blackadder, Corais da Boa Viagem, the Maraldi Shipwreck, Quebra Mar, Ferry Boat Agenor Gordilho, Germania and Bretagne, and the Vega Tugboat — home to sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, corals and plenty of ocean fish. With staff speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese, plus a retail shop, dive boat, parking, air fills, nitrox and full equipment rental, UWBAHIA suits families and divers of every level.
