Welsh Diving

Tucked away in Newport, United Kingdom, Welsh Diving is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre — a credential that places it among the more advanced training facilities in the PADI system. With three PADI Instructors on the team, it caters to divers at every stage, from first-timers taking their initial breaths underwater to those working toward going professional.

Courses and what to expect

The centre runs a wide range of PADI scuba courses spanning the full path from beginner to professional level. Beyond training, it organises dive trips and holidays, and operates a dive club for those who want to keep diving alongside others. A retail shop on site stocks a range of dive equipment, and air fills are available when you need them.

Facilities are geared toward serious learning, with an onsite training pool, a dedicated classroom and parking. Courses are taught in English. With its instructor-development focus and full-service setup, Welsh Diving suits anyone looking for structured progression and a local community to dive with.
