Whale Apnea Dive Center Sdn. Bhd

Set in the heart of Semporna, Whale Apnea Dive Centre is a PADI Freediver Centre built for those who want to explore the underwater world on a single breath. With a team of four PADI instructors speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and Chinese, it's a welcoming base for both first-timers and experienced divers around the Sipadan area.

Courses and what to expect

The centre specialises in freediving instruction, with PADI Freediving, PADI Mermaid and PADI First Aid (EFR) courses on offer. Personalised training is supported by an onsite training pool and a dedicated classroom, so you can build skills and confidence in a controlled setting before heading out.

On-site facilities include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a retail shop, and freediving equipment rental is available if you're travelling light. The centre is open daily from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM, making it an easy fit for divers planning their days in Semporna and the wider Sipadan region.
