Xico Dive Center

Based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Xico Dive Center has grown into one of the area's best and fastest-growing dive shops in just under two years, building a tight-knit community of ocean lovers along the way. As a PADI Dive Center with 3 PADI instructors and 4 languages spoken, its team keeps every dive safe, easy and fun.

Courses and diving

The centre covers the full PADI path, from Discover Scuba Diving and the Open Water Diver course through to Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and professional Divemaster training. Certified divers can add specialty courses, night dives, seasonal bull shark diving, and ocean dives with scooters (DPV) — a service Xico is the only local centre to offer.

Diving spans Playa del Carmen reefs, Cozumel walls, the cenotes of the Riviera Maya, and wreck dives including the C-56 (Juan Escutia) Shipwreck, across sites such as Jardines, Shangrila, Pared Verde and Cenote Chak Mol. It's a natural fit for newcomers and experienced divers alike who want a welcoming, ocean-obsessed crew.
