Zanzibar Watersports @ Kendwa Rocks

Zanzibar Dive Adventures is the scuba diving division of Zanzibar Watersports Limited, based at Kendwa Rocks on Zanzibar, Tanzania. A PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with two PADI Instructors, it runs a regular rotation of around fifteen sites and heads to the famous Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve at least every second day. Trips usually take in two dives and range from roughly three to six hours, depending on where you go and what you do.

Courses and dive sites

The full range of PADI courses is on offer, from Discover Scuba Diving through to Open Water Scuba Instructor. Newcomers can start with PADI Discover Scuba Diving from USD 99, while qualified divers can build up through the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver programmes. There's genuine variety underwater — deep dives at Leven Banks and the Big Wall, and shallow, beautiful sites at Tumbatu and Wattabomi, plus reefs such as Haji and Shane's Reef.

With an onsite training pool, free Wi-Fi and its own dive boat, the centre suits both first-timers and experienced divers looking to take their next step. English is spoken throughout.
