Plan this trip with AI →Sailing the Red Sea from Hurghada, the CU is a 38m (125-foot) liveaboard custom built for diving. Its comprehensive itineraries string together some of the region's most iconic wrecks and reefs, taking in celebrated sites such as The Brothers, Ras Mohammed, Abu Nuhas, Shark and Yolanda, Elphinstone, Daedalus, St. Johns and the coral gardens of Fury Shoal.
Launched in 2008, the CU measures 38 meters with an 8.5-meter beam and carries up to 28 guests across 14 cabins, supported by a crew that brings the vessel close to a 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio. Two tenders ferry divers to the sites, and free Nitrox, a shaded diving area, DIN adaptors and support for sidemount, tech and rebreather diving make it a genuinely capable dive platform.
Between dives, guests unwind in an air-conditioned saloon and sun deck, with warm-water showers, en-suite bathrooms, a dedicated camera station and even a BBQ on board. Professional, naturalist-guided service keeps the diving relaxed year-round, and snorkelers are welcome too.
Disembarkation Breakfast on board. Disembark in Hurghada Marina. Transfer to the airport or hotel. Marine Life: oceanic whitetip, hammerhead, grey reef, and silvertip sharks, along with manta and eagle rays, turtles, large schools of pelagic fish, vibrant reef fish, rich macro life, and pristine coral walls.
