About Star Jet

Star Jet sails Egypt's Red Sea, running itineraries out of Hurghada and Marsa Alam that string together the region's best-known diving. The route list reads like a wish list: Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran, Gordon Reef, Abu Nuhas, The Brothers, Abu Dabab, Fury Shoal and St. Johns — plus the iconic SS Thistlegorm wreck.

Diving from a purpose-built deck

The 8-night Hurghada round trip takes in roughly 19 dives, with up to four a day and night dives worked into the schedule. It's aimed at experienced divers — Advanced Open Water with a minimum of 25 logged dives. The boat is custom built for diving, with a shaded dive deck, rinse hoses, DIN adaptors, two tenders and nitrox available. Tech divers are looked after too, with rebreather support and sidemount diving on offer.

Between dives, the 35-metre boat gives you room to spread out: sun and observation decks, an air-conditioned saloon, en-suite seaview cabins, gourmet cuisine and a bar. There's a camera station with a separate rinse for underwater gear, massage, free internet, and daily housekeeping. Snorkellers are welcome, and paddleboards and kayaks are on board.
