About Golden Imperial
The Golden Imperial brings a touch of luxury to Red Sea diving. Custom-built for divers and launched in 2021, this 43.50-metre liveaboard carries up to 28 guests across 14 en-suite, air-conditioned cabins, with spacious sun and observation decks, an air-conditioned saloon and even a jacuzzi for unwinding between dives.
Routes and diving
Sailing from Hurghada and Port Ghalib, the Golden Imperial reaches the Red Sea's most storied waters — Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran, Abu Nuhas, The Brothers, Fury Shoal and St. Johns. Wreck enthusiasts can explore legends like the SS Thistlegorm, lying upright at 32 m with its cargo of tanks, trucks and railway engines, and the coral-clad Giannis D at Abu Nuhas.
Free Nitrox up to 32%, a shaded diving area, DIN adaptors, rinse hoses and tender-assisted dives keep things easy for every diver, while rebreather and sidemount support welcome tech divers too. A Nespresso machine, camera station and daily housekeeping round out the comfort on board.
