We had a wonderful time at Kira-Kira Liveaboard in Komodo. The crew and the dive constructors Yetno and Engel were always friendly and helpful! The Food prepared by our lovely Chef Wiral and his Assistant Jojo was delicious and various! Even as a Vegetarian i had at least 2 or 3 different dish every meal! It was absolute amazing how theses two guys made freshly baked bread, pancakes, Pasta, indonesian dish and even HOMEMADE Springrolls in the small kitchen! Tgank you so much for always keepibg our Tummys full! The Rest of the crew was also amazing! Very experienced Captain Agus always drove us safely to the next destination! Dedi and Unke had always a helping hand when preparing for the dive. They set our gear up and trested me like a Princess. So all i had to do was putting on my wetsuit and jump in the smsll boat driven by Yusran to get to our next dive! After the dive we were always welcomed back warm and friendly by Jojo, who always smiled and brought Sunshine everyday! We enjoyed diving with Yetno a lot! He was always double checking the conditions and current so we had the best dives. He even changed the internary so we were able to see a lot of mantas (even though it was not the right season!). The only thing not exceptionel good was the cabin. It had enough space and was clean but there was a slightly smell of engine wich made me very seasick. (I get seasick pretty easily, others had no problem at all) But the crew was so lovely and helped us to set up a „Bed“ at the sundeck so we slept a whole week under the stars of beautiful Komodo which was a pretty cool experience! (We were really lucky with the weather so it was possible to sleep there the whole week!) All in all we had a wonderful time with wonderful people and highly recommend going on Board!

Our experience on Kira Kira was a trip that we will savor and relive over & over again. Diving aside (because it’s top notch diving in Komodo with amazing guides), the best part about Kira Kira are the 9 incredible crew members that operate it. We were made to feel like family by the end of the 8 day trip and I literally cried on the dock. Thank you to our Kira Kira family for making our first liveaboard something we will always compare future trips to. Big shoes to fill.

The week I spent on the Kira Kira exceeded all expectations. The crew and staff were extremely pleasant and always had guest satisfaction and safety as a priority. They created a very fun, humerous and friendly atmosphere and led dives very well. The diving was all done from the tender boat but we never had to get in the tender boat from the Kira Kira wearing equipment so it was very easy. The boat itself is not big but offers everything you need and is really a beautiful traditional vessel. There are 2 toilets for everyone on board but this wasn't ever really an inconvenience. My room was clean and had enough storage for my things. Also the cooking was just spectacular, I looked forward to every meal! If I come back to Komodo, I will 100% be looking to book the Kira Kira with Tono and Hans.
