About Marselia Star
Cruising the Red Sea from Egypt, the Marselia Star is a modern 40-metre liveaboard purpose-built for diving. Launched in 2015, she carries up to 24 guests across 12 en-suite cabins, with two tenders ferrying divers to the water and an onboard diver lift easing the climb back aboard.
Diving the Red Sea
The Marselia Star supports recreational, technical, and CCR diving, with nitrox, sidemount, rebreather support, and a dedicated camera room for those documenting the reefs. Itineraries reach some of Egypt's most storied sites, including Ras Mohammed, Abu Nuhas, the Straits of Tiran, The Brothers, Abu Dabab, and the Salem Express — a spread of vibrant reefs, atmospheric wrecks, and shark encounters.
The classic Hurghada round-trip runs 8 nights with approximately 17 dives in total, suited to divers holding Advanced Open Water and a minimum of 30 logged dives. Between dives, an air-conditioned saloon, sun deck, observation deck, and dedicated local crew keep the days aboard comfortable.

The crew will transfer the guests from the airport to the ship. After a welcome briefing by our Cruise Director, cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place. Guests can then familiarize themselves with the vessel, set up their equipment, and get comfortable.

7: A maximum of 3 dives per day are offered onboard: 2-day dives and a night dive (if possible).
- 8Day 8
Check out. The crew will transfer the guests to the airport. Marine Life: Anthias, glassfish, sweepers, gorgonians, hammerhead sharks, pelagic species The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
