Diving in Raja Ampat is not particularly seasonal. September and October bring huge schools of baitfish that attract larger game fish and manta rays. The southerly winds in May and June bring more sharks and pelagic fish. Visibility is best in November and February/March.

★ 5 · Uwe Hasubek · 2025-06-24When I first got on the boat, I wasn't sure whether I was in the right place — there were 14 guests from China, and I was the only European. However, all my concerns were quickly dispelled — to cut a long story short, it was a great tour. I was made to feel very welcome by my Chinese fellow travellers, I had my own divemaster, the food and atmosphere were excellent, and I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. In the end, the manta rays cooperated with us too, so all my wishes for the tour were fulfilled. Would I recommend the tour? Yes, definitely!
