About Sinaistar

Sail Egypt's Red Sea aboard the Sinaistar, a purpose-built liveaboard launched in 2023 and running weekly trips from Hurghada. Spanning 38.6 metres with a 7.8-metre beam, she carries up to 26 guests across 13 cabins, with 15 bathrooms, two tenders and a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Diving and life aboard

Photographers will appreciate the 60 m² dive deck with its 4 m² camera table, plus a dedicated camera room, charging stations and separate rinse for underwater gear. Nitrox, sidemount, tech diving and rebreather support round out a boat custom built for diving, while seaview cabins, air conditioning, a sun deck and the open-air 50BAR lounge keep surface intervals comfortable.

The eight-night Port Ghalib to Hurghada itinerary — roughly 18 dives, Advanced Open Water with 20 logged dives required — traces the Red Sea's legendary triangle. Expect oceanic whitetip, gray and silky sharks along the walls of The Brothers, hammerhead congregations and manta rays at Daedalus, and pelagic predators cruising the coral plateaus of Elphinstone.
