Plan this trip with AI →Rebuilt from the keel up in a complete 2019 renovation, the MY Sunlight sails Egypt's Red Sea with a choice of three itineraries — North, South and Deep South — so you can pick the water that suits you rather than settle for whatever's on offer.
The Southern Red Sea route is the one for divers who like open water and current. Over eight nights out of Hurghada you'll log roughly 20 dives, working through Panorama Reef, the Salem Express, Little Brother and Big Brother, Elphinstone, Zabargad, Daedalus Reef and Middle Reef. The wrecks of the Aida and Numidia lie off the Brothers Islands, and Elphinstone's reef puts you in shark territory at one of the most famous dive sites in the world. It's an Advanced Open Water route with a minimum of 30 logged dives.
Back on board, 10 air-conditioned cabins with ensuite bathrooms host up to 20 guests. The dive deck is shaded, with rinse hoses, DIN adaptors, a camera station and two tenders; nitrox is free. Between dives there's an air-conditioned saloon, a sun deck, an observation deck and a bar. Snorkellers are welcome too.
