Aliwal Shoal Adventures - Ocean Warriors

Set on the beachfront in the small town of Umkomaas, South Africa, Aliwal Shoal Adventures — Ocean Warriors is a PADI Dive Center where safety comes first and education second. The dives are led by renowned photographer Rae Du Plessis, who has logged over 15,000 dives, and the friendly team dives with a philosophy of kindness, consideration and passion for the ocean realm.

Courses and dive sites

With two PADI Instructors and eight courses on offer, this is a strong base for every level. Try scuba for the first time with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Resort Course from USD 118, refresh your skills with PADI ReActivate, or go further with PADI Scuba Diver, Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air. Emergency First Response is also available.

Divers explore Aliwal Shoal Reef, Cathedral and Raggies Cave, plus two wrecks, in waters home to sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, corals and more. Onsite you'll find a training pool, classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and accommodation ranging from en-suite to backpacker style.
