Pisces Divers

Set just a few metres from the False Bay coast in Simon's Town on the South peninsula, Pisces Divers is a friendly, professional PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre that has been guiding Cape Town divers for the past 20 years. With five PADI Instructors on the team, it has long been a centre of choice for anyone embarking on a diving career, offering every level of PADI training from Discover Scuba through to Instructor, plus Freediving.

Courses, dives and local waters

Two Instructor Development Programs run each year, in May and November. Being so close to the sea, the centre can offer dives daily, with a boat launching several times a week. There's a huge variety of dive sites within close range, from shallow shore entries through kelp forests to deeper wreck and reef dives, where you might encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.

A two-dive package includes all equipment, a meal and a guide at a 1:4 ratio — a great way to discover Cape Town's underwater world. The shop also handles equipment sales and rental, servicing for all major brands, and air-fill and nitrox. In May and June, Pisces Divers runs Sardine Run expeditions on the Wild Coast. Staff speak English, Dutch, French and German.
