Reef Divers

Reef Divers is one of South Africa's oldest and most respected PADI Dive Centers, based centrally in Pretoria. A PADI 5 Star IDC backed by 4 PADI Instructors, it's a place that doesn't just introduce people to the underwater world — it keeps them diving, with 24 courses and activities spanning the full PADI and DSAT range.

Courses and training

Whether you're taking your first breaths on a PADI Discover Scuba Diving session (from USD 55, around 4 hours) or building toward the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver ratings, there's a clear path here. Options include PADI Scuba Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, Equipment Specialist, Dive Theory and EFR. Training happens at an onsite heated pool and classroom, with a retail shop and Tek centre on the premises.

The team runs regular trips to local dive sites including Protea Banks Southern Shark Arena, Miracle Waters, Doodles, Steps and Chreche, with encounters ranging from sharks and turtles to whales. English and Dutch are spoken, making Reef Divers a welcoming base for new and returning divers alike.
