Azul Diving - Ponta de São Lourenço

Tucked into the Quinta do Lorde Marina at the heart of the protected Ponta de São Lourenço on Madeira Island, Azul Diving Center is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around small, friendly groups and custom-tailored diving. Departures run directly from the marina in front of the shop on a comfortable 9-meter speed boat powered by a 200hp Yamaha engine — hassle-free from the moment you step aboard.

Courses and diving

Two PADI instructors run courses every day according to your needs and their availability, backed by an onsite training pool and classroom. Daily house reef and boat dives explore local sites including Quinta do Lorde and Parede do Sardinha, where divers may encounter turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and more.

Air fills come from Bauer compressors, and rental gear is brand-new Mares and Cressi. With a waterfront location, free Wi-Fi, parking, onsite accommodation and staff speaking English and French, Azul suits divers who want quality training and relaxed, well-organised days on the water.
