BA Divers

BA Divers sits on the shoreline at Playa Hermosa, on Costa Rica's Guanacaste coast, and works as a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with 2 PADI instructors on the team. PADI scuba diving and PADI snorkelling courses run throughout the week, and the doors open early — 06:00 AM to 05:00 PM, seven days a week — so there's time for a full morning on the water and a debrief afterwards.

The dive sites

The centre's regular sites are Cacique, Virador, Playpen and Punta Argentina. What divers come away talking about is the big stuff: sharks, whales and turtles pass through here, alongside plenty of ocean fish.

Back on land there's an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, parking and a dive boat of their own. Air fills and scuba equipment rental are available, and kids' equipment rental means families can get everyone in the water. Conservation activities are part of what they do. Staff speak English and Spanish.
