Summer-Salt Dive Center

Tucked into Playas del Coco on Costa Rica's North-Pacific Coast, Summer-Salt Dive Center opens up the varied underwater world of the Gulf of Papagayo, where Humpback Whales share the water with Sea Horses. As a PADI Resort with 3 PADI Instructors, this multicultural, outgoing crew guides divers of every level across a wide choice of local sites.

Courses and dive sites for every level

Whether you're trying SCUBA for the first time or building toward a bigger challenge, there's something here for you. Options range from a 2-tank local dive trip and PADI Discover Scuba Diving to Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver and Emergency First Response. The team leads trips to sites including Las Catalinas, punta argentina, monkey head, virador, el sombrero, big scare, bajo negro and Cacique.

Expect encounters with sharks, whales, turtles, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and reef fish. Nitrox, equipment rental, a retail shop and free Wi-Fi round things out, with staff working in English, Spanish and French. "Have a good time" is the slogan — everybody is welcome.
