Set on the shores of Matapalo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, ScubaCaribe is a world-class scuba diving and water sports centre that operates across 10 countries. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort staffed by 5 PADI Instructors, it's a natural home base for warm-water diving in one of Central America's most rewarding regions.

Courses and diving

Whether you're stepping into the water for the first time or building on your skills, the programmes are designed to help you reach your goals — from beginner lessons through to advanced certifications such as the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. With warm waters ranging from 72–90ºF, Guanacaste rewards divers year-round.

From December to March, cooler currents draw humpback whales, manta rays and whale sharks, especially around Catalina and the Bat Islands. During the rainy season from May to November, the Bat Islands become known for thrilling bull shark encounters. With English, Spanish, French and German all spoken, ScubaCaribe suits international divers at every level.
