Big Blue Diving Centre

Set in Sodwana Bay along the KwaZulu-Natal coast of South Africa, Big Blue Diving Centre is a PADI Dive Center run by a dedicated team of ocean enthusiasts and experienced diving experts. This stretch of the east coast sits within one of the planet's most pristine and unspoiled marine environments, where coral reefs, abundant marine life and enchanting underwater landscapes make every dive memorable.

Courses and diving

Whether you're a seasoned diver or a curious beginner, there's a path here for you. The PADI course lineup runs from Discover Scuba Diving and the Open Water Diver Course through to Rescue Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Underwater Navigator, Search and Recovery Diver, the Seal Team programme and Emergency First Response, with prices starting from USD 86.

Local dive sites include 2 Mile reef, Simon's Cave, Coral Gardens, Chain Reef, Pinnacles, Stringer and Waynes world, home to sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs, crustaceans and vibrant corals. With an onsite training pool, classroom, retail shop, dive boat and staff speaking English, Zulu and Afrikaans, it's a welcoming base for divers of every level.
