Dive In Adventure Tours

Set in Shelly Beach near Durban, South Africa, Dive In Adventure Tours is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around the legendary shark diving of Protea Banks — renowned as one of the world's best shark diving sites. On reef and baited dives, divers can come face to face with bull sharks, hammerheads, tiger sharks, ragged-tooth sharks, and blacktip sharks, guided by a professional team of 3 PADI Instructors.

Courses and dive sites

The center caters to everyone from beginners to professionals. A Half-Day Dive Trip starts from USD 114 and runs about 5 hours, while the PADI Open Water Diver course (from USD 485, around 4 days) and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course (from USD 445, around 3 days) build your certification. Signature sites include Protea Banks Northern Shark Caves, Protea Banks Southern Shark Arena, and Protea Banks itself.

On land you'll find an onsite training pool, a classroom, free Wi-Fi, a house reef, a dive boat, and parking, plus air fills, nitrox, equipment rental, and conservation activities. Instruction is offered in English, German, and Swedish — a natural fit for certified and advanced divers chasing adrenaline-filled encounters with some of the ocean's most magnificent sharks.
