Dive Team

Set in Simon's Town on the road to Cape Point, Dive Team is a full-service 5 star PADI dive centre positioned right between the region's popular dive sites. As a base for exploring the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area — rated one of the best diving destinations in South Africa — it runs daily shore and boat dives from its own boats, with guides who are genuinely passionate about the waters they work in.

Courses and diving for every level

With 4 PADI instructors, the centre offers a full ladder of training, from the PADI Open Water Diver Course and Advanced Open Water Diver up through Rescue Diver, Deep Diver, Divemaster and Emergency First Response. Full-day guided boat dives start from USD 178, while dive sites include Long Beach, Roman Rock, Castor Rock, Partridge Point and the SAS Pietermaritsburg and HNMS Bato wrecks.

The kelp forests and colourful reefs are firm favourites for scuba divers and freedivers alike, alongside historical shipwrecks and dramatic scenery. On-site facilities include a training pool, classroom, house reef, retail shop, accommodation and free Wi-Fi, plus air and nitrox fills, equipment sales, and scuba and freediving rental — suiting newcomers and experienced divers looking to explore the Cape.
