Garden Route Scuba

In the centre of town at 40 Marsh Street, Mossel Bay, Garden Route Scuba is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre with three PADI Instructors on the team. It's a friendly base for exploring the waters in and around South Africa's Garden Route, whether you're stepping into the sport for the first time or working your way toward a professional rating.

Courses and diving

The centre runs the full PADI pathway from beginner to Pro — including Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver, Open Water and Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, Scuba Refresher, and right up to Divemaster. Divers can head out on relaxed shore entries or join boat dives aboard the 12-person duck "African Waters", with a Shore entry Dive Trip available from USD 32.

There's a full gear rental section, a retail shop and gear servicing on hand, plus cylinder fills. On site you'll also find a training pool, classroom and a house reef, with English spoken throughout. It suits new divers, holidaymakers and anyone keen to log time along the Garden Route.
