Based in Pretoria, South Africa, Geko is a 5 Star PADI Career Development Center built on pure passion for scuba diving. That passion runs the full spectrum — from recreational courses that open up the wonders of the underwater world to professional training that helps others realise their dreams and start teaching in the industry.

Courses and what Geko is known for

With a PADI 5 Star IDC and two PADI Instructors, Geko covers recreational diving, PADI TecRec, snorkelling, conservation and EFR first aid. It's also the only Ocean Reef full face integrated mask diving center in South Africa, giving divers the chance to experience this technology first-hand for safer, more enjoyable dives.

Divers here head to sites including Protea Banks Southern Shark Arena, Aliwal Shoal Reef, Cathedral, 6 Mile Reef, 4 Mile Reef and Raggies Cave, where sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish are part of the draw. On-site facilities include a training pool, a classroom, an Adaptive Services Facility, a retail shop, free Wi-Fi and parking — making Geko a welcoming base for new and experienced divers alike.
