Island Divers

On Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), India, Island Divers has been welcoming underwater adventurers since 2018. As a PADI Resort staffed by 2 PADI Instructors — a team of islander instructors and local dive masters with a combined experience of over 10 years — the centre offers a safe, welcoming home base whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned diver.

Courses and diving

Programs run the full range of skill levels, from the Introduction Dive Program for those dipping their toes in, up through PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response (EFR), Rescue Diver and Dive Master. Beyond the courses, island hopping excursions let you explore the surrounding islands above and below the surface, in waters that are home to sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish.

The waterfront location comes with a house reef right on the doorstep, a dive boat, air fills, equipment sales and rental, plus free Wi-Fi, food and drinks, and parking. With staff speaking English, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi, it suits solo travellers, groups and families alike.
