Kimya Divers

Kimya Divers may call itself a small dive centre, but its passion for diving — and for ocean education — runs deep. Based in Pretoria, South Africa, this PADI 5 Star Dive Resort is home to three PADI Instructors who share the water with divers eager to learn.

Courses and diving grounds

The training menu spans the PADI Dry Suit Diver, Enriched Air Diver and Deep Diver courses, all from USD 372, with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver from USD 477. An onsite classroom, Adaptive Services Facility, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi round out the setup, and services stretch to air fills, Nitrox and Trimix.

Members range far and wide, logging dives at sites such as Aliwal Shoal Reef, Cathedral, Raggies Cave, Komati Springs, Coral Gardens and Ponta Du Ouro. Sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish are all part of the encounter. With English spoken and a genuine conservation streak, Kimya suits divers who want to keep learning and giving back.
