Lacadives

Lacadives are the pioneers of scuba diving in India, offering a highly personalized diving experience from their base at Chidiya Tapu, a secluded spot 40 minutes' drive south of Port Blair. Rarely sharing the reef with other dive boats, they focus on each diver's individual comfort while keeping their footprint on the reef to a minimum.

Courses and dive sites

This PADI 5 Star Dive Resort runs a full range of courses and activities — from Discover Scuba Diving and ReActivate refreshers to Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy and EFR training. Nine courses and activities in all, with instruction offered in English and Hindi.

Local dives take in sites such as Corruption Rock, Parrrot's Rock, Che Nala, Mundapahar Beach and THE WRECK — the remnants of an East India Company cargo boat that sank in 1918, just 15 minutes from the dive center.
