Madeira Divepoint

Established in 1991, Madeira Divepoint is one of the first dive centers on Madeira — just 33 years young — and the only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development and Dive Resort on the island. You'll find it in an ocean-front setting within the Pestana Hotel Madeira Carlton, on the south side of Madeira, with a team of five PADI Instructors speaking English, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese.

Courses and diving

Whether you're learning to dive or logging your next boat dive into the National Underwater Park, there are 11 courses and activities to choose from — including the PADI Open Water Diver Course, Advanced Open Water Diver, Scuba Diver, Adventure Diver and Enriched Air Diver. Certified divers can dive the house reef from shore from USD 34, or head out to sites such as the Wreck Afonso Cerqueira, Garajau Beach, the Carlton House reef and the Pronto Wreck.
