Nautilus-Sub

Nautilus-Sub holds a special place in Portugal's diving story as the country's first international PADI Diving Centre and its first 5 Star IDC Centre. Based in Lisbon, this pioneer of PADI training has built a reputation over more than 30 years and thousands of PADI certifications. Its team includes the first PADI instructor and the first PADI Course Director in Portugal — a depth of expertise that puts safety and experience front and centre.

Courses and diving

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, Nautilus-Sub offers a full range of diving courses and specialties, from complete beginners right through to master instructor level. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available, and divers can explore local sites such as Pedra do Leão. The waters here are home to sharks, turtles, ocean fish, corals, molluscs and crustaceans, and much more.

With English, Spanish, French and Portuguese all spoken, plus an onsite classroom, dive boat, retail shop and equipment rental, Nautilus-Sub suits everyone from first-timers taking their initial breaths underwater to instructors advancing their careers.
