Orca Diving Academy

Operating out of Cape Town, South Africa, Orca Diving Academy has been teaching diving since 1986. This PADI Dive Center is run by instructors who stay closely involved in the industry, constantly upgrading and updating their diving and training skills so they can offer the full range of advanced and specialty courses from any agency of your choice, right up to professional level.

Local diving and who it suits

The waters around Cape Town open onto a long list of dive sites, from Coral Gardens, Sunny Cove and Long Beach to wrecks like the SAS Fleur and Clan Stuart, and pinnacles such as Friskies Pinnacle, Tivoli Pinnacles and Roman Rock. Divers here may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, along with corals, anemones and jellyfish.

On-site you'll find a retail shop and parking, plus air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and scuba rental. English is spoken throughout, making Orca a natural fit for anyone from first-time students to divers chasing professional certifications.
