Pro Dive - Plettenberg Bay

Founded in 2006, Pro Dive Plett has grown from a small outlet into a world-class PADI 5 Star Dive Centre, backed by six PADI instructors and now an integral part of the Beacon Isle Hotel. With its own house reefs, on-site shop, lecture room, training pool, equipment room and air-fill station, it's set up to welcome divers of every level along South Africa's Garden Route.

Courses, dives and the famous seals

Plettenberg Bay is home to a large Cape Fur Seal colony, and few places let you meet these curious animals so closely. Join a seal scuba dive or seal snorkel, or watch from the boat at the surface — an unforgettable interaction with marine life. Dive sites include Seal Dive, Dolphin's Column, Deep Blinders, Redbait Reef and Shallow Blinders.

Options span shore entries on the house reefs (from USD 44), shallow boat dives, and the 2 Tank Boat Dive Reef & Seal Combo, plus training from PADI Discover Scuba Diving to the PADI Scuba Diver Course. With English and Afrikaans spoken, it suits families, first-timers and certified divers alike.
