Quest Academy

Quest Academy is an aquatic sports academy in Ramanathapuram, India, that also caters widely to scuba diving. As a PADI Dive Center with 3 PADI instructors, it's well placed to introduce newcomers and guide certified divers through the untouched dive sites of the surrounding Palk Bay.

Diving in Palk Bay

The Palk Bay is one of the last remaining habitats for green sea turtles and dugongs on mainland India, and humpback dolphins are commonly found in the region. Divers may also encounter bamboo sharks, sting rays, sea anemones and Clark's anemone fish, alongside a wide variety of mollusks — from octopus and cuttlefish to tiny nudibranchs, sea hares and a huge diversity of gastropods.

Course offerings span PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, PADI First Aid (EFR) and dedicated Conservation programmes, reflecting the academy's involvement in conservation activities. With a house reef, onsite classroom, dive boat and English- and Hindi-speaking staff, Quest Academy suits both first-time learners and divers keen to explore one of India's quieter marine frontiers.
