The Dive Master

Set on Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) in India's Andaman Islands, The Dive Master is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with a team of three PADI instructors and a welcoming house reef right on its doorstep. Small group sizes and eco-conscious practices, including coral conservation initiatives, sit at the heart of everything here.

Courses and dive sites

Whether you're taking your first breath underwater or building specialty skills, the centre runs PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 76, around 3 hours) through Adventure Diver, Underwater Navigator, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diver and all the way to Divemaster. Guided dives reach sites such as The Wall, Dixon's Pinnacle, Johnny's Gorge, Aquarium, Nemo Reef and Turtle Beach.

Divers can expect kaleidoscopic coral gardens alive with parrotfish, eagle rays and sea turtles, with sharks and other marine life rounding out the encounters. With instruction offered in English, Hindi, Bengali and Tamil, it suits beginners and certified divers alike who want personalised attention and a genuine connection to Havelock's underwater world.
