Two Oceans Aquarium

Set on Cape Town's waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium Dive School is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre built around learning. With three PADI instructors on staff and a purpose-built facility, it's a place where complete beginners and experienced divers alike can find the right course — a rare mix of aquarium, classroom and open ocean in one location.

Courses for every level

Newcomers usually begin with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, from USD 171, or step straight into freediving. From there the school runs a full ladder of PADI-certified scuba and freediving courses — Scuba Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Deep Diver and Digital Underwater Photographer, plus Freediver and Advanced Freediver — covering everyone from first-timers to those chasing new specialties.

On site you'll find a training pool, classroom, deep pool, retail shop and a dive boat, along with Nitrox, equipment sales and rental, and active conservation work. Courses are taught in English and Afrikaans, and the waterfront setting offers a gateway to the marine life of two oceans — sharks, whales, turtles, rays and more.
