Umhlanga Scuba

Umhlanga Scuba is a PADI 5 Star scuba diving academy based in Durban, South Africa, set in a waterfront location at Ushaka Marine World. With two PADI instructors on the team, it's a place built around one idea: teaching you to explore the underwater realm, from your very first breath to professional level.

Courses for every diver

The center runs a full spread of PADI training, from the PADI Basic Freediver and Open Water Diver (E-learning) through to the Enriched Air Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver. Air fills, Nitrox, Trimix and mixed gas are all on hand, along with scuba equipment sales, adult and kids rental gear, and a dive boat for getting out on the water.

Divers here can encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and more. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, an aquarium/deep pool and parking, and instruction is offered in English. Courses and dives start from USD 191, making it a solid base whether you're learning to dive or building toward instructor level.
