Urban Nomad Unbound Adventure

Urban Nomad Unbound Adventure is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort based in Puducherry, on the southern East Coast of India — a one-stop base for diving, kayaking, fishing and other water sports the whole family can enjoy. With a team of seven PADI Instructors speaking English, French, Hindi and Russian, the centre welcomes complete beginners, certified divers and course students alike, with a house reef, onsite training pool and classroom for comfortable learning before you head out to sea.

Courses and marine life

The training menu spans 23 courses and activities, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving to Deep Diver, Search and Recovery Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer and conservation-focused Dive Against Debris. Local dive sites include Temple Reef, Canyon Wall, Fan Garden, Danny's Eel Garden and the aptly named Whale Shark Site.

Beneath the surface you may meet Malabar grouper, schools of barracuda, fan coral gardens and tiny nudibranchs — and, if you're lucky, the whale sharks that visit between June and October, plus dolphins and fin whales. It's a versatile spot suiting families, groups, tech divers and professionals chasing PADI specialties.
