Blacktip Divers is a company created and fully operated by Costa Ricans, embracing the true "PURA VIDA" spirit from the very beginning. Based in Uvita, this PADI Resort brings together 6 PADI Instructors and speaks English, Spanish and German.

Courses and diving at Isla del Caño

The centre runs 16 courses and activities, from Discover Scuba Diving and the PADI Open Water Diver Course to Advanced Open Water and the PADI Equipment Specialist, all set around Isla del Caño. Full-day and private-boat trips round out the options, so beginners and certified divers alike have a clear path into the water.

Divers explore sites such as Paradise, The Lighthouse, Bajo del Diablo, The Anchor, The Wreck, The Garden, The Arch and Sharks Cave, where sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels and corals share the reef. With an onsite classroom, dive boat, Nitrox, air fills and equipment rental, Blacktip suits new and experienced divers looking for a genuine Costa Rican welcome.
