ConnectOcean Flamingo Dive Center

On the waterfront at Marina Flamingo in Potrero, Guanacaste, ConnectOcean Flamingo Dive Center pairs Costa Rica's Pacific coast diving with genuine purpose. As part of ConnectOcean Conservation and Community Outreach, a 501(c)(3) marine conservation NGO, every experience is built to connect guests with the ocean while supporting conservation, education, and community. It's a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, and its small-group trips are led by passionate instructors, marine educators, and ocean advocates.

Courses, dive sites and marine life

The center runs a full range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving and the ReActivate refresher to Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, and Rescue Diver, alongside conservation and citizen science programs. Divers explore local sites including Las Catalinas Classico and Las Catalinas North, home to sharks, turtles, and ocean fish, with whales possible seasonally from January through April.

With an onsite training pool, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat, parking, and food and drinks, ConnectOcean suits first-timers taking their first breaths as well as experienced explorers who want their diving to give something back to the sea.
