Diving Nomads

Diving Nomads is a Tico-European family-owned PADI Dive Center based in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, where a team of four PADI instructors shares its pura vida passion for the ocean. The center runs daily diving tours for certified divers of all levels, plus snorkeling and boat tours, welcoming everyone from first-timers to seasoned divers.

Courses and dive sites

A 30-minute boat ride carries you from Tamarindo to the Catalinas Islands, one of the country's three main spots, with more than 20 world-class dive sites. Beneath the surface you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, corals and plenty of ocean fish. The PADI course lineup runs from Discover Scuba Diving and Emergency First Response through Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver, alongside a Scuba Refresher and Half-Day Dive Trip.

On-site you'll find a classroom, retail shop, dive boat, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and equipment rental. Staff speak English, Spanish, French and German, making it a welcoming base for international divers.
