Under The Sea Diving

Set in the heart of Playa Potrero on Costa Rica's Pacific coast, Under The Sea Diving is a PADI Dive Center built around exploring the region's rich marine life. With two PADI Instructors, a multilingual team working in English and Spanish, and a genuine focus on safety and ocean conservation, it's a welcoming base for divers of every level.

Courses and dive sites

The centre runs a full ladder of PADI courses, from the six-hour Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 220) through Open Water certification and on to professional Rescue Diver training. Along the way you'll find Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air Diver, and Advanced Open Water for those keen to go deeper.

Local diving takes in sites such as Las Catalinas Classico, Las Catalinas North, Punta Catalina, North Point, Sombrero, Elefante, and Brumel, where you might encounter sharks, turtles, rays, eels, and colourful reef fish. With an onsite training pool, a waterfront location, its own dive boat, air fills, and equipment rental, it suits complete beginners and certified divers alike.
